Hey there, it’s been a while since I last updated this blog. Cobwebs are everywhere, and I figured that I need to sweep them out. It’s not because I don’t have time to put some musings here, but because I am too lazy. There I said it, finally. I planned to post a year-end post but I think it’s too late.

Anyhow, I still have this love and hate affair with my job, which I acquired months ago. I’m staying because I think I’m old enough to depend on my folks. Besides, they spent 22 long years supporting me and I think it’s time.

The love and hate affair with my job needs to end, too, I guess. Thank you for competitive workmates who manage to challenge me for being number 1, and for a strict, moody boss who will keep you motivated at all causes. No NCNS and IR for me from now on, if you know what I mean haha.

I am damn proud of myself now, I guess. I’m almost surviving this predicament, called “Quarter Life”. There’s a lot of wants-to-do and wants-to-have, but I am appreciating what I have and what I am now. All of those should come in the right places, I suppose.

This post needs not to be serious, but I don’t have something to say here, really. It’s the start the month and summer is approaching fast. All I know is that I need to lose weight, and that goal should start NOW. See you!

Hey Blog. It’s Sunday and it’s the only day I can take a break from all the stress of working 6 days straight. My plans to go see my high school buddies yesterday was cancelled because I have to render a rest day overtime. It’s a punishment for being 10 minutes late consistently! (Now, I learned) Suppose to be, the rendezvous with my buddies is to celebrate; for a friend who passed a licensure exam, for another friend who was hired as an IT staff and admin assistant, and for me who is now a corporate slave! Just to sum it up, goodbye college and hello work for us!

Anyhow, there are a lot of things I am missing since I am sleeping when the sun is up.  Like for instance, the controversial Binibining Pilipinas whose English is worst than ever, that there is another Filipino who made it to the American Idol, and the Pacquiao-Marquez boxing match is TODAY. Whoa. I only heard of those updates just today! Hope Manny Pacquiao and the Filipino American Idol finalist (forgot her name) will win, though! Luckily, I can view the replays in Youtube!

Can’t think of anything else to rant here… I just want to say that I so loooove this day! Hope Sunday won’t end. Hayyy…

Oh yeah, it's a tagalog post! At dahil ako'y proud sa aking markang nakuha sa trabaho, gusto kong i-share sa inyong lahat. *drums rolling*

NUMBER 1 AKO!

As they would say, "Madaling makakuha ng mataas na marka, pero mahirap itong i-maintain..." Takot akong bumagsak, aminado akong isa sa mga weakness ko yan. I have this personality na kapag bumabagsak ako, I feel so bad na iisipin ko yung failure na nagawa ko buong araw. Pero sabi nga nila, hindi ka matututo kung hindi mo ito naramdaman. And there, I learned from it.

Maraming beses na akong nagtangkang ipasa ang resignation letter ko, pero quoting Boss Mal, "Do not be hasty with your decisions." And yes, being hasty with my decisions will probably result into something I would regret.

Thank you for the kudos, colleagues! And thank you for that inspiring, yet touching commendation Boss Ricky, our training and quality assurance supervisor. Expect that I will keep on aiming high! This is just the start...
